Art History 101 is a clothing store in Philadelphia, PA. The owner is a Mayfair local and has been giving back to the community since day one of his journey. Jay, the owner, is a family and community man. His family, including his own mother (who will treat you like one of her own... Especially if you bring her a coffee from Wawa haha!), work in the store or on location with his "store bus". Jay is responsible for all of the brand's designs. This man has been through a rebuild of his store already due to fire, but it hasn't dampened his spirits and he still refuses to relocate the store from Mayfair. That was the store's origin and that's where it'll stay. Jay is very proud of his Mayfair routes. I am very proud to see someone local finally make progress and do good. Times are tough for everyone and I don't, personally know if the store is in trouble, but everyone could use a little help nowadays. I hope that Jay continues to do all the things he has for himself, his family, and the community. It would be nice for one of the little guys to really make it big. I'm routing for not only Art History 101, but Jay himself. Not too many have a heart like his.
